CCSEZR is not only an academic base for comprehensive and systematic research on issues on China’s special economic zones, but also an Academic Base Camp for discipline construction of deeply exploring and revealing the basic theories, and also a incubator of the humanities & social science key research base.



Prof. Huang Weiping, The director of “Contemporary Chinese Politics Research Institute ” of Shenzhen University	Prof. Dong Likun，The director of “Research Center of Basic Law in Hong Kong and Macau” of Shenzhen University	Prof. Wu Yumin, The director of research base of Guangdong province “the Center for Media & Social Changes ” of Shenzhen University
The director of famous research base of Guangdong province “Contemporary Chinese Politics Research Institute” of Shenzhen University evolved from research direction of Administrative Management in CCSEZR, leaded by Prof. Huang Weiping was one of the deputy directors in CCSEZR in the first session.	The director of “Research Center of Basic Law in Hong Kong and Macau” evolved from research direction of Law in CCSEZR, which is strongly supported by the Law Committee of National People’s Congress, evolved from research direction of Law, Prof. Dong Likun was one of the first deputy directors in CCSEZR.	The director of research base of Guangdong province “the Center for Media & Social Changes” of Shenzhen University evolved from the research direction of Culture in CCSEZR, Prof. Wu Yumin was the key staff and academic leader of program for research direction of Culture of SEZs in CCSEZR.

CCSEZR has long been studying in the areas of marketing economy theories, special economic zones and China’s road, SOEs reform, income distribution system, equity-efficiency, resources productivity, transition development, sustainable development and systematic economics, with numerous publications. The academic books of “Choice of Economy”, “Evolution of Western Economics Issues”, “Modern Pattern of Political Economics”, “Study on Resources Productivity”, “Substitution & Choice of Equity & Efficiency”, “Property Right, Institution & Efficiency”, and so on, have had important influences and built up the academic advantage of theoretical economics.
