On the morning of April 3, the 2nd Academic Salon “From Topic Selection to Publication: Phenomena in Economic Paper Editing” for Ph.D. Students in Theoretical Economics in 2023 (62nd in history) was staged smoothly by the China Center for Special Economic Zone Research (CCSEZR), Shenzhen University (SZU) through Tencent Meeting. The keynote speaker of the salon was Dr. Ran Lijun, assistant research fellow of the Center for Social Development and Public Policy, Sichuan Academy of Social Science and editor of the Social Science Research journal. His research interests include Economic Anthropology, Regional Social Development, History of Economic Thoughts, and Institutional Economics, and published multiple papers in high-impact journals and newspapers, including China Safety Science Journal, Journal of Hubei Minzu University (Philosophy and Social Sciences), and Chinese Social Sciences Today, as well as a co-published work Hometown is Far Away — Chongqing Fengdu Youth Return Back Home to Start up Businesses. Deputy Director Zhang Ping hosted the salon, which was attended by about 30 graduate students in the Theoretical Economics of CCSEZR.
